IDS GeoRadar C-thrue Lite kit is a complete handheld GPR scanner for non-destructive inspection of concrete structures. The Lite version is an economical starter kit containing the C-thrue scanner with a built-in touchscreen and the essential accessories for immediate field use.
The system uses a patented antenna that is dual-polarised (HH and VV), operating at 2 GHz, enabling simultaneous detection of the first and second layers of reinforcement in a single pass. It precisely locates rebar, cables, pipes, voids and other objects within concrete, helping identify safe locations for drilling and cutting. The integrated EM sensor detects live cables at 50/60 Hz, while the laser positioning system keeps scans parallel.
The C-thrue Lite kit is ideal for construction engineering, reinforced-concrete inspection, bridge analysis and renovation work requiring a fast, reliable assessment of concrete condition.
