A field-proven Leica DS2000 with a newer controller
This listing is for one specific used Leica DS2000 in our consignment range. Manufactured in 2018, it was purchased by GeoScanners from Leica Geosystems in 2021. Its main role has been demonstrations and presentations, alongside occasional commercial survey work.
The radar is fully functional. Its earlier tablet has been replaced with a newer Getac controller running Windows 11. The offer covers the equipment listed below, together with operator training and technical support to help the buyer get started.
Beyond demonstrations, this DS2000 has a history of television production work, student field training, scientific research and survey projects. The original photographs below show this particular unit working in a range of real settings.
What is included with this used DS2000?

The working history of this GPR
These projects show the range of work carried out with this unit. Survey results depend on ground conditions, the target and how the investigation is conducted.
“Misja Skarb” – series two and three on Fokus TV
This radar took part in the production of the second and third series of “Misja Skarb”, broadcast on Fokus TV. The gallery includes original photographs from related fieldwork, showing the DS2000 in its actual survey setting.
The documentary “Na północ od piekła”
The same unit was also used during production of “Na północ od piekła”, a documentary available on YouTube. It is another chapter in the equipment’s history of fieldwork and exploration.
Student field training at Nicolaus Copernicus University
The DS2000 was used to train students during practical field classes at the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The group photograph records a hands-on introduction to GPR surveying.
The A18 motorway and a flood embankment in Opole
Its survey history also includes work beside the A18 motorway and on a flood embankment in Opole. Two different radars appear in the A18 photograph; only the yellow Leica DS2000 is the unit offered here.
Tunnel searches near the Belarusian border
We also used this radar for work associated with tunnel searches near the border with Belarus. The historical photograph documents the survey; the GNSS receiver shown in it is outside this offer.
A radar used in scientific research
Michał Dąbrowski used this DS2000 for research described in his doctoral thesis on geological structures and man-made objects in Quaternary sediments.
At Jedwabno, it was used to record four 2D profiles, compare data from the 250 and 700 MHz antennas and test data fusion in ReflexW. At Uniejów, signals attributed to masonry structures were checked in trial excavations. Measurements near the palace in Skrzynka are another documented part of its research history.
