The Mini sonde is an active solution for locating empty non-metallic pipes at depths of up to 10 m. When inserted into PVC, plastic or other non-metallic pipes, it transmits a 33 kHz signal that can be detected from the surface using a Leica DT100 or DD120/130 locator. With a diameter of 18.2 mm, it is well suited to narrow sewer and drainage pipes, as well as telecommunications ducts.
