DT100 + DE100 with Li-Ion — a kit for regular field work
The Li-Ion version pairs the Leica DT100 locator and DE100 transmitter with rechargeable power for both instruments. One dedicated battery and the correct charger for each device help prepare the kit for repeated site visits. AA and LR20 battery holders remain included as an alternative power option.
More operating time between charges
Leica specifies up to 15 hours of continuous Li-Ion operation for the receiver and up to 17 hours for the transmitter. These instrument ratings depend on settings and operating conditions. The transmitter battery enables output up to 10 W, with output limited to 1 W above 45 kHz.
Active tracing with connection-quality feedback
Crocodile-clip leads and an earth stake apply a signal to an accessible conductive utility or tracer wire. The DE100 shows circuit current, voltage and resistance, while the DT100 follows the line and estimates its depth. The frequency analyser supports frequency selection where interference is present.
A kit for teams moving between projects
This version suits surveyors, contractors and utility maintenance teams who regularly locate cables, metal pipes and utilities with tracer wires. The bag keeps instruments and accessories organised in transit. Direct-connection leads are included; a signal clamp is an optional accessory for this version.

Choosing and using the kit
Are alkaline battery holders retained in the Li-Ion kit?
Yes. Alongside two batteries and two chargers, you receive an AA holder for the DT100 and an LR20 holder for the DE100. A signal clamp is not included in this version.
