Leica DE100 signal transmitter

Leica DE100 is a professional 10 W signal transmitter sold separately for active tracing of underground utilities. This offer includes the DE100 transmitter only and does not include a DT100 detector/locator. The transmitter applies a signal to metallic underground utilities such as power cables, copper telecommunications cables, metal gas and water pipes, and tracer wires on PE gas and water pipelines.

The transmitter operates across a wide frequency range and delivers a high output power of 10 W for more effective signal transmission along the utility being traced. The DE100 has two output ports, allowing two accessories to be connected simultaneously as required.

The built-in display and measurement functions act as a diagnostic centre in the field, providing feedback on circuit parameters such as power, voltage, current and resistance to help assess whether the signal is being applied correctly. Safety features are also important: the DE100 can warn of hazardous voltages at its outputs, providing additional protection for the operator when working on live utilities.
